Unfortunately, she did not have the fan base to get her through the end. Not to mention that, going up against a white guy, she is not considered as marketable in the American music industry. She still has the best voice, but this is a show called American Idol. Let's face it, she's not what you imagine when you think of the word "idol". It was disheartening to see them name Phil as the winner as he, even he knows, is not the best out there.
